Welcome to the Project SHARE Scholarship Application
Project SHARE was created in 1985 to assist the community. Since we work and live here, the Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) believes in sharing resources with those who need a helping hand.
Because BPUB understands the value of gaining a higher education, monies from the Project SHARE program are allocated to a scholarship fund whereby deserving graduating high school seniors are awarded scholarships. Please make sure to read over the application rules & regulations.
Before you begin, please make sure you meet the following criteria or download the application checklist for your records.
- Applicant must reside in a household that receives services from BPUB. The account must be the primary residence of the applicant at the time the scholarship is awarded and have a minimum of one-year utility service with BPUB by the application deadline date. The utility account must be in overall good standing.
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior during the 2021-2022 school year.
- Applicants must attend an accredited institution of higher education located in the USA.
